Business Development Consultant (Commercial) (Cape Town)
Job Description
ENVIRONMENT:
Are you a driven and dynamic individual with a passion for building strong client relationships? Our client is a leading insurance provider making a real difference in the industry and is currently looking for motivated professionals in Cape Town to be part of an energetic team in a rapidly growing company.
DUTIES:
- Grow your own portfolio by prospecting for new clients across the Garden Route through face-to-face appointments and cold calling.
- Perform comprehensive business insurance needs analyses for clients.
- Present and offer the company’s tailored business insurance solutions.
- Manage your sales pipeline, ensuring consistent performance to meet targets.
- Stay on top of your sales activities and targets, from calls to quotes, as set by management.
- Keep detailed and accurate sales reports.
- Commit to continuous self-improvement and skill development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in English and have a minimum of a matric certificate.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with access to your own transport.
- Proficient in MS Office with a demonstrated track record of sales success.
ATTRIBUTES:
- A motivated self-starter with at least 1 year of sales experience (insurance experience is a plus but not mandatory).
- Organized, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
Goal-driven, accountable, and able to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
