Job Description


Optimi Workplace is looking to hire a target-driven individual with strong sales ability to join the Sales Department as a Business Development Consultant. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in relationship management with an adaptable attitude and a passion for sales.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma/Degree (sales or marketing) or equivalent.
  • BTech or Honors (Sales or Marketing) or equivalent (recommended).
  • 3 years or more of sales experience.
  • Sales and marketing experience in the education or training field.
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent command of the English language (verbally and written).
  • Must have own vehicle.
  • Must be willing to travel.

DUTIES

  • Achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Maintaining good relations with existing clients to increase revenue.
  • Prospecting and canvassing to generate new clients.
  • Presenting Optimi Workplace as a business partner by offering training solutions.
  • Contribute to the coordination and participation in trade shows or exhibitions.
  • Researching current markets to develop new and innovative product and service solutions.
  • Providing weekly sales reports.
  • Promote interdepartmental collaboration with IT, Accounts, and Implementation teams.

The position is based in Durban.
