Bookkeeper/Tax Accountant

Job summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / Tax Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions and prepare accurate tax filings. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, knowledge of tax regulations, and the ability to work independently.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, etc.).
• Compile financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Liaise with clients or internal stakeholders regarding financial and tax matters.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Tax Accountant.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
