Job Overview:
We are recruiting for a 3 months fixed contract. The Accounts Services Manager will oversee a core finance operations team responsible for managing day-to-day processes across accounts receivable, accounts payable, operational expenses, and financial controls. The successful candidate will bring both structure and agility to the role, balancing high-level oversight with hands-on involvement.
This is a key leadership position requiring experience in managing finance teams, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team managing receivables, payable, reconciliations, and operational claims.
- Monitor financial processes and ensure compliance with internal standards and cut-off time lines.
- Provide guidance on business related declarations, fee invoicing, and concessions handling.
- Ensure accurate month-end reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger integrity.
- Maintain control over banking processes and ensure reconciliations are completed.
- Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and help drive automation and efficiency.
- Support audit processes and implement recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
- Mentor team members and foster a results-driven, collaborative work culture.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must hold a BCom Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years in a finance leadership role
- Experience managing teams in high-volume transactional environments
- Solid working knowledge of accounting systems and month-end procedures
