Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accountant with a strong audit background and proven experience managing multiple sets of books.

This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle the complexity of multi-company financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the financial records for multiple companies
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform reconciliations of accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and tax requirements
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure audit readiness
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Handle VAT returns, payroll processing, and other statutory reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of three years of accounting experience
• Strong audit background (must have worked in an audit firm)
• Proven experience managing multiple sets of books
• Accounting till the balance sheet
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
