Account Manager NEW

RPO’s client is actively seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our client in Kathu. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated sales professional to drive profitable sales targets from both new and existing clients, increase market share, and provide exceptional customer service. If you have experience in sales with a successful track record in achieving targets, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Achieve agreed sales and profitability targets.

• Actively seek and create market opportunities.

• Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with current and future customers.

• Manage a healthy prospect pipeline and meet agreed customer visit targets.

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to understand client organizational structures.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of inquiries, quotes, tenders, and rental orders on the ERP system.

• Assist with the collection of outstanding payments and complete weekly/monthly reports accurately.

• Comply with all SHEQ codes of conduct, standards, and COVID protocols.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with at least 3 years of relevant experience and a successful track record in achieving targets.

• Diploma/Degree in Sales/Marketing or a related field.

• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience.

• Experience with report writing and using an ERP system.

• Good understanding of sales and rentals, competent in administrative tasks, and proficient in MS Office packages.

• Knowledge of mobile units/construction products, logistics understanding (truck configuration), market intelligence, and cost control.

• Strong interpersonal, sales, and communication skills; target-driven, adaptable, and good planning/organizing skills.

• Energetic, confident, flexible, independent, reliable, and customer-orientated with integrity and perseverance.
