Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for a set target in Project Sales. The solutions provided to clients can vary from standardised packages, specialty membrane applications to biological treatment solutions.


  • 8-10 years’ experience in a relevant market related position, selling to industrial customers in the FMCG and/or mining sector.
  • Must have proven track record of independently developing and selling project > R 10 million
  • Must have a well-developed network of clients, partners and consultants in the private sector.
  • A proven track record achieving profitable growth in the water treatment sector, using a technical / consultative sales approach.

Skills & Competences:

  • Process Design capacities
  • Solid Water Treatment Technology solution knowledge
  • Sound understanding of Commercial Project Finance and Project Feasibility Calculations
  • Sound understanding of fundamental contractual aspects
  • Strong business and commercial skills
  • Interpersonal skills demonstrate ability to interact at all levels
  • Strong work ethics and ability to multi task
  • Computer skills: MS Office
  • Knowledge and certificates HSE
  • English
