Our client seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Procurement Administrator.
Responsibilities include:
- Resource planning to meet production targets
- Supplier Management, new and current supplier relationships, price negotiations and evaluation
- Request for Quotations
- Purchase Order Processing and Compliance
- Inventory Management
- Documentation and Reporting: prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and procurement status updates.
- OTIF management including quality standards
Must have matric with at least 5 years purchasing/procurement administration experience preferably in an engineering/automotive industry. MRP systems (SAP, JD, Odoo, Syspro) as well as advanced MS Excel and a strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control is essential. A relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage.
