Job description

Deliver high-end digital campaign elements to satisfy the needs of the business – that is, on time, on brief and within the CI guidelines of the Primedia Broadcasting brand(s) involved.

Create digital art and interactive content for video, web and digital content.

Key outputs

Develop and execute 360° digital campaigns

  • Conceptualise, design, and implement comprehensive digital campaigns from initial concept to deployment.

Creation of user interfaces and graphic elements for websites

  • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI) and graphic elements that enhance user experience.

Develop brand and campaign CI

  • Create and refine brand and campaign corporate identity (CI), including logos, typography, colour schemes, and overall visual aesthetics.

Design physical merchandise and branding materials

  • Conceptualise and produce designs for physical merchandise, including clothing, banners, posters, flags, and vehicle branding.

Develop special effects using multimedia

  • Create and integrate special effects using audio, video, graphics, and other electronic media to enhance visual content.

Ensure alignment with Primedia Broadcasting’s sub-brand strategies

  • Ensure that all visual aspects of the work accurately reflect Primedia Broadcasting’s sub-brand strategies and identities.

Evaluate and test creative trends

  • Stay up-to-date with and evaluate creative and design trends, incorporating innovations into campaigns to ensure they stand out.

Utilise Asana for project management

  • Effectively use Asana to manage project timelines, collaborate with team members, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of all creative outputs. Maintain organised project workflows and ensure that all tasks and deadlines are met.

Educational qualifications

  • Matric
  • Diploma/ Degree in Multimedia Design or similar
  • Additional qualifications and/or skills in UX Design

Required knowledge and experience

  • 5+ experience in digital, web or multimedia design
  • Ability to apply sound design philosophy to digital campaigns

Required technical skills

  • Knowledge of and proficient in Adobe CC products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Aftereffects, Premiere Pro)
  • Demonstrate experience of website development using HTML and CSS
  • Have experience or familiarity working with project management tools, in particular, Asana or similar.
