Hire Resolve is actively seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our client, an industry leader in metals technologies and manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, repair, and improvement of all tooling dies, jigs, fixtures, and fittings for press tools and CNC equipment, ensuring they align with production and customer requirements. This role is essential in supporting the business’s objectives by providing critical support to the new tooling division, contributing to new product development, launches, and introductions. The Toolmaker will work on various phases of projects, or even complete projects, with moderate complexity—directly impacting successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, repair, and improve all tooling dies, jigs, fixtures, and fittings for press tools and CNC equipment.
  • Ensure tooling aligns with production and customer requirements to support business objectives.
  • Provide support to the new tooling division for product development, launches, and introductions.
  • Ensure the robustness of product builds during new product development and introductions.
  • Work on various phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects with moderate complexity.
  • Contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Experience in tooling development, maintenance, and repair.
  • Proficiency in working with press tools, CNC equipment, and related components.
  • Strong ability to align tooling with production and customer needs.
  • Experience supporting new product development and product launches.
  • Ability to handle multiple phases of a project with moderate complexity.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in tooling or manufacturing.
