Conduct thorough analysis of existing merchandise and supply chain systems. Identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains in processes related to inventory management, order fulfilment, and supply chain logistics (WMS).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business objectives.
Design and implement enhancements to merchandise and supply chain systems based on identified requirements. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall technology architecture.
Oversee data accuracy and consistency within merchandise and supply chain systems. Implement data quality measures and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of system enhancements. Conduct thorough validation of new features to guarantee successful implementation.
Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in merchandise and supply chain systems. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
Minimum requirements
- 4 – 6 years proven experience as a Systems Analyst in Merchandise, Supply chain and retail domains
- Degree or related qualifications in Information Technology
- Proficient in system design, data analysis, and process optimization
- Familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain management software, and relevant technologies:
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Sound structured programming and solid technical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good documentation skills
