Outbound Manager
Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of managerial experience in the logistics e-commerce industry.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines in the logistics industry.
- Experience working with logistics software and systems.
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement outbound shipping and distribution strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
Oversee a team of outbound staff, providing guidance and support to ensure all operations run smoothly
Monitor and analyze outbound performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate outbound activities and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the logistics industry
Manage relationships with external partners, such as carriers and vendors, to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise
