Circular Flow Agent

The Role:

We are looking for a Circular Flow Agent to join our dynamic team in our Sandton office and help deliver a world-class digital customer experience for our rapidly growing subscriber base. This role is for an ambitious and highly motivated individual seeking the rare opportunity to help scale a high-growth technology company, across multiple verticals.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

Overview:

• Perform high-quality repairs of electronic devices: phones, tablets and laptops
• Conducts all diagnostics, repairs, refurbishment and testing of devices
• Disassembling and reassembling of devices to perform repairs
• Able to use hand and power tools/instruments associated with the device repairs
• Able to meet set deadlines and deliver on target whilst maintaining quality standards
• Share experiences and conduct training with other technicians throughout the company
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels

Quality Control:

• Perform the refurbishment process for returned products, maximising efficiency and quality control
• Perform repackaging and redistribution of refurbished products back to the subscriber base
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy before moving into stock
• Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all Circular Flow processes
• Ensure strict quality control measures
• Drive customer satisfaction with refurbished products and promote the circular economy model

Asset Management:

• Foster relationships with all repair partners to ensure SLAs are met
• Perform repo processes to ensure timely assessments and turnarounds 
• Ensure the BER process is followed for damaged and defective items to be disposed of appropriately
• Manage storage space for all assessments and repairs to be conducted in a timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Matric (Bachelor’s Degree advantageous)
• Understanding of the functionality, repair, and refurbishment processes for mobile devices, laptops, and home appliances.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders about sustainability initiatives and product lifecycle processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and find solutions that promote sustainability and cost-efficiency.
• Experience in managing multiple projects or processes simultaneously, ensuring timelines and sustainability goals are met.
• Prior experience or certification in the repair or refurbishment of electronics or appliances.
