Stores Manager

Stores manager required for the overall management of the company’s warehouse/store and goods storage.

The successful person will be required to:

• manage staff
• manage storage, distribution and security
• oversee receipt and safety of goods coming in
• ensure orders arriving are correct and are dispatched on time to the right destinations
• implement systems to manage and account for stock
• ensure the safe storage of stock
• ensure the health and safety of the environment
• carry out stores cleaning and inspections
• monitor stock levels and rotations
• produce accurate daily reports of work done including stock movement, returns, sales etc.
• manage the warehouse staff and recruit for the stores

These are a few of the duties, but do not include all.

Required:

• grade 12
• Dyna Supervisory Certificate
• a relevant degree in distribution or logistics
• MS Office – Minimum intermediate level
• at least four years’ experience in a warehouse/stores management role
• SAP Business One knowledge

Must currently reside in the Vaal area.
