Main purpose of the Job:

We are seeking an experienced senior media strategist to join our dynamic Media team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive above-the-line and below-the-line media strategies that drive brand awareness and achieve marketing objectives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of media plans across various channels.
Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams, including creative, media planning, and strategy, to deliver integrated solutions that align with client objectives and deliver measurable results.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ATL and digital media strategies that align with overall marketing goals and target audience demographics.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key opportunities and insights for media planning.
  • Create detailed media plans encompassing traditional channels such as TV, radio, print, and out-of-home (OOH) and digital advertising.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure messaging and visuals are aligned with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Manage media budgets effectively, optimising spend to maximize ROI and achieve KPIs.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, media landscape changes, and emerging technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Prioritising deadlines with the team(s).

Key competencies/skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Four-plus years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of successful ATL media campaign management.
  • Deep understanding of media planning principles and best practices across TV, radio, print, OOH and Digital.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets and optimizing media spend to achieve business objectives.
  • Proficiency in media planning tools and software (e.g., Telmar, etc.).
