SALARY

R240 000 CTC + medical aid coverage

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plant Maintenance to sustain a Safe Plant Environment according to all ISO and SHEQ Systems.
• Read diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
• Continuous improvement on Machinery for Safe and optimum production
• Operate Forklifts and rigging equipment to pick and place machinery and parts, fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach and align motors, connect coupling and belts.
• Perform predictive Maintenance e.g., vibrational analysis, service and repair pneumatic equipment, and may do some welding/fabrication during breakdowns.
• Managing the layout/placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime.
• Overseeing preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts.
• Conduct or oversee commissioning tests according to specifications.
• Safely perform preventative maintenance at planned intervals and repairs of any damages or faults found.
• Attend to breakdowns on machines as soon as possible.
• Responsible for shutdown work and electrical maintenance on machines.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
