Quality Assurance Assistant
Job Description
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the incumbent will monitor quality assurance within operations, to ensure that they meet production standards. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced. Quality control inspectors examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- 1-year related experience
- Must have worked within Plastics or any manufacturing environment
- Quality assurance as well as ISO 9001 experience will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications
- Control and monitor acceptance and rejection criteria
- Assists with Stock count
- Organization, maintenance, and control of the quality system
- Inspect, test and sample materials or products for defects and deviations from specification
- Report any non-conformities, ensuring the correct quantiles of all production
- Ensure quality of production including night shift quality conforms to Quality control
- standards Enforce all policies and procedures as per Quality Management System
- Maintain good internal and external relationships.
