 A renowned property and real estate development agency has an exciting hybrid opportunity for a Mid-Weight Marketing Account Manager in Cape Town.
The role of the Marketing Account Manager involves managing and maintaining client and marketing relationships, while ensuring that marketing campaigns are executed effectively.
Providing support to the Head of Group Marketing you will be instrumental in the briefing process for creation and implementation of brand campaigns across the various communication channels.
Tasked with building relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors, the Marketing Account Manager ensures clients are satisfied and fosters long-term relationships.

Responsibilities
 
    • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and Delivery.
    • Account/Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution of marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring they meet the outlined objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Briefing and Reporting: Understand client needs, brief the internal team, and provide regular updates and reports to Head of Group Marketing
    • Team coordination: Collaborate with creative, media and technical teams to deliver cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
    • Review creative work: According to the brief and campaign or project objectives as well as the channel efficacy and Brand alignment.
    • Strategy Execution: Ensure that marketing strategies are effectively implemented according to objectives.
    • Problem Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during the execution of marketing campaigns, provide quick and effective solutions.
    • Jira: Logging Epics, tasks, managing updated until the task is closed.
    • Slack: Keep status updated and using as a communication tool for quick messages and updates with the team.
    • Alchemy: Keeping up to date with all Marketing collateral, reporting of the use of the collateral, creating PDF blocks and uploading social and print collateral.
    • Marq: Keeping up to date with Marketing collateral, archiving old templates and adding new as requested.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Industry relevant qualification
    • 5+ years Ad agency experience as a middle weight Account Manager.
    • Good understanding of Marketing concepts, strategies and best practices.
    • Proficiency in both print and digital marketing channels and tools.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – clearly convey ideas, expectations and feedback to stakeholders and team members.
    • Excellent brief taking and writing skills.
    • Active listener.
    • Client/stakeholder focus and interpersonal skills – building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Analytical skills and problem solving.
    • Organised and good time management – keeping track of multiple campaigns, deadlines and deliverables and ability to multi-task.
    • Good team coordination and decision making.
    • Adaptable, flexible and resilient.
    • Creative and innovative thinking and ability to review creative work against the CI for copy and design.
