We are looking for a dynamic sales representative to join our Gauteng team. The successful candidate must be a sales professional, be results-oriented and target-driven whose core focus must be to generate new business and manage client relations whilst attaining strategic business targets and goals. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the Brand Packaging and flexographic industry, with a strong background in selling premedia products and services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding their customer base and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The ability to bring established contacts in the industry is highly desirable.

Roles and responsibilities:

Sales and business development:
Identify potential customers and new business opportunities within the Brand Packaging and flexographic industry.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth.

Customer relationship management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
Address any concerns or issues promptly to enhance customer loyalty.

Industry networking:
Leverage existing contacts and relationships within the Brand Packaging and flexographic industry to generate leads and expand the customer base.

Product and services knowledge:
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Brand Packaging and flexographic industry and their applications.
Provide expert advice and solutions to clients based on their specific requirements.

Market research:
Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Quotation and proposal preparation:
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals for potential clients, considering their unique needs and specifications.

Sales presentations:
Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and advantages of our premedia services and products.

Order management:
Oversee the order process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to address any production or logistical challenges.

Sales reporting:
Maintain detailed sales records, track sales performance, and provide regular reports to management on sales activities, progress, and challenges.

Customer feedback:
Gather feedback from clients to understand their needs better and provide insights for product development and improvement.

Required skills:

  • Proven track record of successful sales management experience in a relevant field, such as print, packaging and brand management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret designs/briefs from customers/marketing teams and relay to the internal creative team and production teams.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented and driven by targets and KPIs.
  • Experience withing reprographics, print and packaging is a requirement.


  • BCOM/BA degree/diploma in business management, marketing, sales management or a related field. 5-8 years relevant experience in FMCG and/or packaging print industry.
  • Strong understanding and experience of sales, marketing, customer relations business.
