Systems Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled systems engineer with extensive experience in Azure. This permanent role offers a chance to work remotely from Cape Town, providing the perfect work-life balance while being part of a dynamic and innovative team.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Maintain and support Exchange Online, SharePoint, Office 365, and Active Directory environments.
• Develop and execute strategies for seamless integration and optimization of cloud services.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all cloud-based applications and services.
• Configure and manage network infrastructure, including routing and switching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services and network infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a systems engineer with a strong focus on Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Office 365, and Active Directory.
• Solid understanding of networking principles, including routing and switching.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Microsoft Azure certifications.
• Experience with other cloud platforms and services.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting tools.
