About the role: This hybrid role requires a proactive and client-focused professional with proficiency in both Afrikaans and English. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, providing exceptional accounting services and leveraging cloud technology to enhance financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring all accounting and financial reporting needs are met.
- Provide expert advice on financial management, tax planning, and compliance.
- Utilize cloud accounting software to streamline client processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review financial performance and address any queries.
- Assist clients with the adoption and implementation of cloud accounting solutions.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive accounting services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.
Minimum requirements:
- Experience in a client-facing role within an accounting firm.
- Familiarity with various cloud accounting platforms (Xero, QuickBooks Online, Caseware, Sage One).
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
