POSITION
Credit Analyst (12 Month Contract)
LOCATION
La Lucia, Durban
SALARY
R300 000 per annum
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assess credit worthiness of applicants (mortgage and other credit products) through undertaking detailed risk assessment analysis
• Ensure that procedures and decisions comply with credit policy, regulations and best practice standards
• Motivate and support decisions through the analysis of financial information
• Provide quality service to internal customers
• Liaise with other stakeholders within the company
• Staying abreast with Legal, compliance and market
• Provide regular feedback on the submission of loan applications to manage
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• B.Com Degree or relevant business degree
• 2 Years’ experience in Credit underwriting
• Banking / Financial Services Experience
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent Time Management
• Attention to detail and strong proven credit/financial analytical skill including property valuations
