We are specifically seeking a Business Manager with a technical background and robust commercial and contract knowledge to manage a construction business on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans for business growth.
• Identify and pursue new construction opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day construction operations and safety compliance.
• Manage project budgets, financial performance, and reporting.
• Lead project execution from initiation to completion.
• Provide leadership to construction teams and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Manager in the construction industry.
• Technical background in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and contract management in construction.
• Leadership skills to manage and motivate construction teams effectively.
• Ability to oversee project budgets, financial performance, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
• Professional certification or registration (e.g., SACPCMP) preferred.
