Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Description
This pivotal role is focused on supporting and implementing business strategies through effective BI projects.
This role involves driving business profitability by delivering tailored BI solutions, integrating data assets into business processes, and ensuring ongoing efficiencies through a culture of shared tools and resources.
You will be responsible for extracting and profiling data, resolving medium to complex queries, and liaising with stakeholders to document and sign off BI business requirements.
Moreover, this role is not just about data analysis. It’s about using that analysis to provide strategic insights and support informed decision-making, empowering you to influence the company’s direction.
You will also play a key role in setting the intellectual agenda for the team, sharing knowledge, and proposing new or improved data products to enhance the BI environment, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement that will intellectually stimulate and motivate you.
Essential Qualifications:
- National Certificate Grade 12 NQF 4
- Relevant degree (NQF5) – Advantageous
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Minimum three (3) to four (4) years of experience in a BI environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Kerridge and JDA data structures and relationships.
- SQL server skills, including SQL object development, performance tuning, data analysis and integration
- Knowledge in Technology such as C#, VSTO, SharePoint, SAS, Power BI, and MEAN Stack (Advantageous)
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office
