We are looking for a documentation specialist to help us create, manage and improve on all our customer facing documents. The key requirement of this role is the development and maintenance of Microsoft Word templates for policy documents, using a report-generating programme (Windward). Further to this, the successful candidate will also assist with drafting communications and technical documents aligned with company directives and strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Microsoft Word templates to generate reports (client facing documents) displaying information from a database, using Windward report generator. This requires:

    –          Presenting all risk-related data in a client-friendly, logical format.

    –          Making sure templates cater for different scenarios.

    –          Making sure the content is correct and compliant.

    –          Aligning the look and feel with company standards.

    –          Facilitating the approval and implementation process amongst various stakeholders.

    –          Version-control of templates and sub-templates as and when updates are required.

  • Effectively collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the development and testing of documents, including Business, Project managers, Product specialists and Developers.
  • Work with the Product Development area to ensure that all customer facing documents are concise, simply worded, error-free and on-brand.
  • Assist with drafting all new customer facing documents and communications.
  • Track and report on all existing customer facing documents.
  • Work with the Marketing area to create documents and marketing material for new products, launches, events, and promotions.

Requirements:

  • A tech-forward mindset, with a hunger for knowledge and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Experience in a role dealing with policy documentation, programming, or a similar role.
  • A qualification in computer science, information technology or software engineering would be advantageous.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills and organizational abilities.
  • Must be able to work in a team, multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Previous experience in Financial services will be advantageous.
