Job Description
Based in Hammarsdale you will oversee and control the Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance functions of the plants, ensuring the smooth operation and availability of equipment.
This role requires a strong background in maintenance within heavy industrial environments, with specific experience in mining or crushing being advantageous.
You must hold a Matric with a related maintenance qualification, an N5 Qualification, and be Millwright Trade Tested with robust electrical knowledge.
A minimum of seven years post-qualification experience is essential, including at least three years in a heavy industrial setting and two years in a leadership or supervisory role.
You will possess in-depth knowledge of various trades, including electrical, fitting, machining, boiler making, and welding, with extensive experience in maintaining conveying equipment, gearboxes, compressors, blowers, drives, crushers, and rigging equipment.
The role involves managing maintenance activities to maximise plant availability, ensuring compliance with maintenance standards, scheduling preventative maintenance, and overseeing budgets. Additionally, you will drive SHEQ initiatives, champion safety improvements, and develop team members to ensure optimal performance.
