Head of Sales – Asset based Finance
Job Description
You will be responsible for devising and executing commercial strategies that align with the group’s business development and sales and marketing goals.
This role demands 10-15 years of Sales Management experience with a solid asset-based finance background.
You will leverage strong business acumen, strategic influencing skills, and a deep understanding of funding markets and industry relationships.
Key responsibilities include overseeing group commercial strategy, sales, marketing, and remarketing initiatives, managing functional teams, and driving ad-hoc projects.
This role encompasses planning, developing, and implementing commercial strategies to support the group’s business development and sales and marketing strategy.
Qualification
- Commercial Degree and or Post Graduate Degree or equivalent in management
Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in a Financial Services or Capital Equipment Finance or IT / Office Equipment environment
Skills
- Excellent understanding of Commercial, Sales and Marketing within an asset-based finance banking environment
- Wide base of existing OEM and industry relationships
- Sound business acumen
- Strong analytical skills
- Strategic liaison & influencing skills
- Sound understanding and application of business technologies
- Presentation and business communication skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (advanced Excel)
Strong working knowledge of funding markets
