Job Description
Hire Resolve is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Site Agent to join our client’s team in Sandton.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee and manage construction sites, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and according to the required standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure all work is completed to specification.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and report on site activities to management.
- Manage onsite staff and provide direction to construction teams.
- Address any site-related issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Site Agent in the construction sector
- Strong knowledge of JBCC contracts
- Capable of programming on CCS
- Experienced in contractor reporting
- Enjoys working on-site
- Solid understanding of construction processes and regulations
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
Benefits
Salary: R35,000 – R45,000
