Junior Draughtsman
Job Description
Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opening for a Junior Draughtsman in Krugersdorp to join our client, a leading firm in the engineering sector. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or those with some experience to develop their drafting skills and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify detailed drawings and plans for engineering projects
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to finalize designs
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and specifications
- Ensure accuracy of drawings and compliance with industry standards
- Participate in project meetings to provide drafting insights
- Maintain organization of project files and drawings
- Support the production team with necessary adjustments and updates to designs
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Draughting or Engineering
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- A team player with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes is an advantage
