Creative Project Manager (with Traffic)
We are looking for a Creative Project Manager who can also fill the roll of studio Traffic Manager to join our corporate communications team. This position will be responsible for dealing with clients directly and all the behind the scenes client management on projects that are briefed into the studio (both digital / print design projects (brochures, logos, posters, infographics) as well as short-form video projects) (client interaction +/- 30% of your day).

We are looking for a creative, self-motivated individual with a keen visual sense and passion for detail. The Project Manager will work with multiple teams (clients, internal, third party suppliers and freelancers) on various corporate communications briefs. The Project Manager will experience the innovation process of projects in many different mediums, and it is the Project Manager’s role to ensure projects are completed timeously and within budget while keeping the stakeholders informed and accountable.
Briefs will be communicated clearly and effectively from the Account Manager and Creative Director. The Project Manager must have the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines, with the possibility of working after hours (adhoc 2 – 3 times a month).
Our ideal candidate is someone with an interest in visual communication who’s a superstar at all of the above and is comfortable working solo “in the zone” as well as in a team. He or she must be able to demonstrate they can work efficiently in a deadline driven environment, is highly organized and strives for detailed, polished results every time.
Reporting to: Account Manager and Creative Director
Location: Working from home (3 – 4 days per month in a work space in Rosebank or Waterfall)
Essential Job Functions:
Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned projects briefed into the studio
• Liaise with clients on projects, timelines, changes and manage client expectations when required
• Work with the Account Manager and Creative Director to run projects as briefed
• Ensure that communication is clear and concise between internal teams and external resources
• Attend weekly status meetings
• Coordinate and schedule meetings
• Lead internal team meetings on project progress or check-in’s with the team
• Create project reports for stakeholders
• Delegate tasks on the project to internal teams and external resources best positioned to complete them
• Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
• Collaborate and manage internal and external stakeholders as required per project
Project Briefing
• Understand project requirements and objectives, developing plans to ensure successful execution and delivery
• Prioritise and plan timelines for each project and communicate with team members who are responsible for contributing to each project
• Brief internal teams and partners
Project Management
• Create and manages projects within the chosen Project Management tool
• Work with the Creative Director to optimise workload and assignments across the Creative Team
• Traffic all creative projects
• Develop and manage rollout schedules from creative inception to final delivery
• Manage project execution
• Manage the campaign review process
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement
Creative Management
• Review and manage the reverts on creative work presented by the internal team
• Monitor the change and quality of creative output from the Creative Teams
• Oversee the delivery of brand creative projects
• Oversee the delivery of creative work from Creative Team – providing feedback and ensuring work remains on brand and on brief
• Work with the creative team to develop the most appropriate and effective materials to meet brand objectives
• Manage the approval of all creative in conjunction with the Creative Director
• Perform quality control on the project throughout development and before the project is released to the Creative Director/Traffic Manager
Proposals
• Assist the Creative Director / Account Director with generating costings and quotes for projects
• Where applicable, assist with the development of presentations for proposals
Other
• Ability to follow & manage brand guidelines & consistency
• Team player with internal/external partner relations
• Ability to work well under pressure, multitask and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work well with all levels of staff, partners & suppliers
• Must possess good communication skills
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail

• Various other adhoc duties as assigned
Qualification and experience requirements:
• Bachelors Required
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience working in a creative atmosphere
