Junior Interior Designer
Job Description
Hire Resolve is looking for a passionate and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our client’s team in Johannesburg, South Africa. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with a few years of experience who is eager to learn and grow within the interior design field.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in creating innovative design concepts and presentations.
- Conduct research on design trends, materials, and products.
- Help prepare design documents, including layout plans, elevations, and material boards.
- Participate in client meetings and site visits to understand project requirements.
- Support project managers in coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
- Develop 3D models and renderings using design software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in interior design or a relevant internship.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic understanding of design principles, spatial concepts, and building codes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take constructive feedback.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
