First Notice of Loss Consultant
Job Description
Job Purpose:
To provide exceptional customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in the registration and query handling of claims
Job Outputs:
- Adherence to claims notification and registration process
- Claims support and administration
- Liaising with insurers to follow up on outstanding documents
- Reactive policy underwriting
- Customer Service
- Adherence to risk and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate/ Matric
- FAIS credits on NQF level 4 or a full FSCA aligned qualification as per legislation, is an advantage
- Regulatory exam (RE5) advantageous
Experience:
- Minimum 1 years’ applicable Short term Insurance Customer Service and Claims experience
- Minimum 6 months Contact Centre experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Multilingual, including English
- Problem solving skills
- Empathetic
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Computer literate (MS office including Outlook)
- Excellent telephone etiquette
