Dealership Creditors Clerk

Our client located in Pretoria, Gauteng seeking a meticulous and organised dealership creditors clerk to manage their accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry and a strong background in accounting.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing and reconciling creditor invoices and statements.
• Ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
• Verifying and posting transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
• Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to creditor accounts.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date creditor records.
• Preparing monthly reports on accounts payable activities.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assisting with audits and other financial reviews as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting qualifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as a creditors clerk, preferably within a dealership or automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
