Job Description


Job title: Maintenance Practitioner Instrumentation – Mining Industry

Location: Limpopo, South Africa

Job type: Full-time, permanent

RPO Recruitment’s client is a leading mining company in Limpopo who is looking for a Maintenance Practitioner Instrumentation to join their team. The company is committed to providing a safe and productive working environment for their employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on instrumentation equipment used in the mining industry
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation equipment
  • Calibrate and test instrumentation equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Install new instrumentation equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
  • Follow established safety procedures and regulations while performing maintenance work
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and operations teams to ensure smooth functioning of equipment

Requirements:

  • Degree/National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
  • Instrumentation Trade Test Certificate
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance of instrumentation equipment in the mining industry
  • Control System and PLC and SCADA software experience & knowledge
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the mining industry
  • Valid driver’s license

Benefits:

  • Salary: R700K p/a – R800K p/a
  • Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
