Maintenance Practitioner Instrumentation
Job Description
Location: Limpopo, South Africa
Job type: Full-time, permanent
RPO Recruitment’s client is a leading mining company in Limpopo who is looking for a Maintenance Practitioner Instrumentation to join their team. The company is committed to providing a safe and productive working environment for their employees.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on instrumentation equipment used in the mining industry
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation equipment
- Calibrate and test instrumentation equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Install new instrumentation equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Follow established safety procedures and regulations while performing maintenance work
- Collaborate with other maintenance and operations teams to ensure smooth functioning of equipment
Requirements:
- Degree/National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
- Instrumentation Trade Test Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance of instrumentation equipment in the mining industry
- Control System and PLC and SCADA software experience & knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the mining industry
- Valid driver’s license
Benefits:
- Salary: R700K p/a – R800K p/a
