What the job is
A company in Secunda, Mpumalanga, sells industrial equipment and welding tools. They need a Technical Sales Person to help customers and sell their products. You will work with businesses in the area to find new sales opportunities.

What you will do
Sell industrial equipment and welding tools to customers.
Build good relationships with new and existing customers.
Give technical advice and help customers choose the right products.
Visit customer sites, prepare quotes, and follow up on sales.
Arrange product demonstrations and train customers on how to use the equipment.
Meet monthly sales targets.
Plan customer visits and find new business opportunities.
Make cold calls to potential customers.
Handle sales paperwork like quotes, invoices, and orders.
Keep accurate records of customers and sales.
Follow health, safety, and environmental rules.
Do other tasks to support the sales team.

What you need
Matric certificate.
A trade qualification like Welder or Boilermaker (welding experience is a big plus).
At least 3 to 4 years of experience in technical sales, especially in welding, engineering, or industrial equipment.
Good understanding of welding tools and industrial products.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good planning and time management.
A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable car.
