A company in Johannesburg, Gauteng, that works with hydraulic engineering needs a Hydraulic System Designer and Draughtsman. This person will design hydraulic systems, create technical drawings, and help with engineering projects.

What the job is
You will work with a team to design and improve hydraulic systems. You will make 3D models and drawings of parts like cylinders and power packs. You will also help test these parts and fix any problems.

What you will do
- Design hydraulic systems and parts
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor
- Design cylinders, manifold blocks, and hydraulic power packs
- Help reverse engineer hydraulic parts
- Test and check hydraulic parts to make sure they work well
- Give technical help to other teams and branches
- Prepare quotes for hydraulic parts
- Do calculations to make sure designs are correct

What you need
- Finished Grade 12 (Matric), N3, or similar
- Diploma in Mechanical Design
- At least 5 years of experience designing hydraulic systems
- Good skills in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Experience with hydraulic calculations
- Knowledge of MD Tools is a plus
- Good at solving problems and fixing technical issues
