This is a full-time position for a Home Claims Advisor at Huntswood, based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The role involves handling insurance claims for customers, ensuring their concerns are addressed fairly and efficiently. You will work closely with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction is a top priority.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with home insurance claims, handling both incoming and outgoing calls.
- Manage claims from initial report of loss (FNOL) through to final settlement.
- Update claim information, process adjustments, and handle cancellations.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and fairly, following company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify potential problems before they escalate and support vulnerable customers.

Requirements:
- Completed Matric (National Senior Certificate).
- At least 1 year of experience in home insurance claims handling.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Attention to detail for accurate information processing.
- Clear criminal and credit record.
- Experience with booking and registering new claims.
- Understanding of home insurance policy terms and conditions.
- Familiarity with investigating causes of loss (e.g., storm damage, fire, theft).

Preferred Qualifications:
- RE 5 and FAIS certifications (not mandatory).
