What the job is:
This job is for a Storeman at Autoworx, part of the Motus Corporation. The company specializes in vehicle repairs and seeks a responsible and trustworthy individual to manage stock and inventory at their Cape Town Airport branch. The role involves handling parts, paint, and other materials while adhering to safety and quality standards.

What you will do:
- Receive and check deliveries of parts, paint, and supplies to ensure they are in good condition and properly recorded.
- Track stock levels through regular checks and update records using inventory systems.
- Store materials safely and correctly to avoid risks or contamination.
- Prepare and pack paint orders for timely delivery to the production team.
- Collaborate with the production department to forecast paint supply needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized paint shop.
- Report any stock issues (missing or damaged items) to management promptly.

What you need:
- Experience in a storeman or inventory role, preferably in manufacturing or a paint shop.
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and proper storage procedures.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and basic reporting tools.
- At least a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- A valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license.
- Comfortable using a computer for basic tasks.
- Strong communication skills in English (speaking and writing).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
- Physically fit for tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
