This job is for a Production Supervisor at Pedros, a company known for its chicken products. The role is based in Centurion, Gauteng. You will be responsible for managing the poultry production department in the Distribution Centre, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and according to quality standards.

What you will do:
- Oversee daily operations of the poultry production team, ensuring production targets are met while following food safety and quality rules.
- Hold daily team meetings to check progress and plan next steps.
- Schedule work, assign tasks, and ensure staff are positioned to meet production goals.
- Manage stock levels (raw materials, marinated chicken, packaging, finished products) using FIFO principles.
- Collaborate with procurement to order supplies and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Inspect products, maintain equipment, and ensure workplace cleanliness and safety.
- Train staff on food safety, quality control, and company policies.
- Investigate and resolve production delays or quality issues.
- Conduct performance reviews, handle disciplinary matters, and approve leave.

What you need:
- Matric (Grade 12) completion.
- 2-5 years of experience in food production (preferably poultry).
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of stock management, inventory controls, and HACCP standards.
- Proficiency in Excel for reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours (weekends/public holidays).
- Clean criminal record.
