This is a full-time Bookkeeper position at Motus Toyota Bedfordview, part of the Motus Corporation. Located in Edenvale, Gauteng, the role involves managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting accounting processes within the automotive retail sector (Toyota and Hino dealership). Key responsibilities include daily cash book processing, bank reconciliations, clearing expenditures, general ledger management, and handling payments to foreign creditors. Additional tasks involve parts and workshop cash sales, petty cash control, debtors reporting, EFT/cheque payments (with approvals), perpetual stock checks, creditor orders, warranty store checks, and monthly debtors follow-ups. The role requires associate-level bookkeeping experience, knowledge of general ledger and bank reconciliations, and familiarity with automotive retail accounting. A diploma in accounting/finance is preferred. The position offers stability in the automotive industry with exposure to dealership operations.
