This job is for a Maintenance Operator at Wembley Square, a gym and wellness center run by Virgin Active. You will be responsible for keeping the facility running smoothly, ensuring all equipment and areas are well-maintained, and providing excellent service to members. The role is based in Cape Town, Western Cape, and is a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance tasks as instructed, including checking for faults in equipment, gym areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Follow daily maintenance plans, attend to breakdowns quickly, and carry out repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance to avoid future issues and ensure all equipment meets brand standards.
- Assist with maintenance administration, including tracking stock levels for tools and supplies, reporting replacements, and completing paperwork like pool logs and downtime reports.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by storing tools properly, keeping work areas tidy, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:
- Matric certificate as minimum qualification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar maintenance or operations role.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Adaptability, strong work ethic, and a growth mindset.
- Trustworthiness and ability to make independent decisions.
