This is a contract position for a Programme Coordinator for the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) programme at the University of the Free State. The role is based at the Bloemfontein Campus in the Free State province. Only permanent academic staff already working in the Department of Psychology will be considered. The contract lasts for five years, starting on January 1, 2027.

Key responsibilities include leading the Psychology programme, managing student enrolment, advising students, developing curriculum, and ensuring compliance with academic standards. Collaboration with staff, students, and industry partners is required to maintain programme quality and attract students.

Requirements: PhD in Psychology (or currently registered at NQF Level 10) and full-time academic staff status. Preferred: 3-5 years of lecturing or leadership experience in Psychology. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
