This is a 5-year contract position for a Programme Coordinator at the University of the Free State. The role is based at the Bloemfontein Campus, within the Department of Sustainable Food Systems and Development. Only permanent academic staff currently working in the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems and Development at the university will be considered for this role.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and improving the Sustainable Food Systems programme
- Organizing curriculum processes and updating learning programs
- Ensuring programme compliance with university policies
- Coordinating quality checks and administrative tasks
- Managing teaching schedules and student-related matters
- Contributing to research and marketing the programme

Requirements:
- PhD at NQF Level 10 in Food Systems, Consumer Sciences, or related field
- Permanent academic staff member at the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems and Development
- Experience in academic coordination, curriculum development, and quality assurance preferred
