Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Sunninghill is looking for a Pharmacist Assistant who has completed their basic qualification. This is a fixed-term position where you will help patients, work with medicines, and learn how pharmacies operate. The role involves assisting with controlled medicines, repacking medicines, managing stock, and ensuring correct dispensing. You will work at the dispensary counter, helping patients understand prescriptions, explaining medication use, and answering health-related questions. You will also maintain patient records, verify proper packing/labelling, and follow up on prescriptions. Medical aid cost explanations may also be required.

Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) with Life Science or Physical Science (minimum 50% average)
- Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
- Ability to work under pressure, fluent English, and meet deadlines
- South African citizenship, clean criminal record, valid MIE, and clear credit record
- Driver’s license or reliable transport
