Responsibilities include on-site inspections of concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures, creating detailed drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Prokon, and writing technical reports for legal or insurance purposes. Collaboration with architects and senior engineers to solve problems and propose repair solutions is also required. Occasional travel within South Africa and Africa may be necessary. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of construction site experience, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Prokon, and Microsoft Office, strong English communication skills, and a BEng/BSc Eng or BEngTech degree. A personal vehicle is mandatory due to restricted transport options.
