What the job is: This job is for an Operations Support Agent at Frogfoot Networks, working remotely across South Africa. The company specializes in telecommunications and fibre network operations. You will be part of the Maintenance team, helping to keep everything running smoothly by handling daily tasks and supporting operational teams.

What you will do: You will manage and follow up on maintenance tasks to ensure they are completed correctly and on time. This includes answering calls, emails, and queries from internal teams and providing accurate information. You will work closely with Maintenance Supervisors to plan, schedule, and solve operational issues.

Key responsibilities include updating and maintaining systems like Solid, Zendesk, UNMS, IRIS, and CMS. You will enter data for faults, maintenance activities, and customer records, ensuring accuracy before saving. You will also facilitate communication between maintenance teams, the Network Operations Centre (NOC), and other departments.

Additional tasks include assisting with general administration, organizing documents, reports, and maintenance logs, and supporting special projects or process improvements. Customer service is also a key part of the role, requiring professional and friendly handling of customer queries.

What you need: To apply, you must have completed Matric (Grade 12) or have relevant work experience. Preferred candidates have 6–12 months of experience in technical support, NOC, or maintenance environments. Comfort with Windows Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic knowledge of systems like Solid, Zendesk, UNMS, IRIS, and CMS are required.

A technical mindset, basic fibre network operations knowledge, ability to work under pressure, strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential.
