This job is for a Service Ambassador at Virgin Active’s Sun Valley club in Fish Hoek, Western Cape. You will work 45 hours per week in a permanent role, helping members have the best possible experience at the gym. Your job is to make sure everyone feels welcome, informed, and happy while using the club’s facilities, both in person and online.

What you will do:
- Handle the front desk and greet members as they enter the club.
- Check people in, answer questions for members and staff, and ensure everyone’s needs are met.
- Provide excellent customer service to help meet member satisfaction targets.
- Actively engage with members to encourage use of digital fitness programs and invite them to fitness events.
- Ensure members exercise safely by reminding them of club rules and safety guidelines.
- Keep the gym floor clean and tidy.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve skills.

What you need:
- Completed Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 4.
- Successful completion of Reception Academy training.
- Good understanding of digital tools and fitness programs.
- At least 12 months of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Passion for fitness and helping people.
- Trustworthy, adaptable, and willing to learn.

Other skills we value:
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently.
- First Aid certificate is a plus but not required.
