This job is for a Building Manager at Redefine Properties Limited, a company specializing in property management in Sandton, Gauteng. The role involves overseeing and managing buildings to ensure they are well-maintained, safe, and meet tenant and property management needs. You will collaborate closely with building managers and property teams to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and inspect building operations to meet quality standards.
- Build strong tenant relationships and address issues promptly.
- Manage emergencies and ensure backup plans for quick problem resolution.
- Oversee outsourced service providers (cleaning, security, etc.) and ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular building inspections and implement maintenance schedules.
- Manage equipment (elevators, HVAC, security systems) and ensure buildings remain clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Supervise maintenance teams, track equipment checks, overtime, and staff assignments.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and staff-related matters.
- Manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.

Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in building management, technical work, or similar roles.
- Knowledge of green building management practices.
- Grade 12 certificate (technical/trade qualification preferred).
- Proficiency in computer use, English (speaking/writing), and time management.
- Basic math, problem-solving, people management, attention to detail, and flexibility.
- Understanding of OHSA rules and procurement processes.
