What the job is: This role involves planning, organizing, and executing entertainment events (shows, productions) at Sun International venues in Cape Town. The successful candidate will drive the company's entertainment strategy, aligning with the 'Mind and Mood' brand vision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage an annual entertainment calendar, collaborating with artists, suppliers, and sponsors to maximize audience engagement and revenue.
- Oversee budgets, compliance with safety regulations, and equipment/resource management.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to promote events and ensure seamless execution (stage setup, AV, security, troubleshooting).
- Maintain venue and equipment safety standards through inspections and maintenance records.
- Build and nurture relationships with industry partners while enforcing Sun International's standards.
- Train and supervise staff, handle payroll, and enforce company policies.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year diploma in Events Management or Project Management.
- Disaster Management Certificate and Advanced Health and Safety Certificate.
- 10+ years of event planning experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong AV/stage equipment knowledge, budget management, and regulatory compliance skills.
- Proven track record in the entertainment/gaming industry.
