This internship is for young, unemployed TVET students who want to gain work experience in merchandising. Managed People Solutions offers this opportunity to students who have completed their N6 TVET Certificate and need to finish their 18-month workplace program to qualify for their N6 Diploma. The position is based in Steenberg or Sun Valley, Western Cape.

As a Junior Merchandiser, you will help keep store shelves organized and products looking their best. Your main tasks include checking stock levels, ensuring correct products are available, inspecting product quality, verifying prices, and rotating stock. You will follow a schedule for merchandising tasks like arranging displays and updating promotions. You will handle customer complaints, answer product questions, and track merchandising activities. Phone calls and reporting out-of-stock items to your supervisor are also part of your duties.

To apply, you must be under 28 years old, have completed your N6 TVET Certificate in Management Assistant, Business Management, or Marketing Management, and be based in Steenberg or Sun Valley. No prior merchandising experience is required, but you must be ready to learn quickly and work hard. Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
